Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!!
The nice thing about holidays such as these is that I have an excuse to bake with zero judgement.
My best friend ran the LA Marathon this morning, which obviously motivated me to…nope, sweets are just too good.
Anyways, today i decided to test out a new chocolate chip recipe with fleur de sel. If you’ve never heard of it before, fleur de sel is a finishing salt that it harvested in France. You can buy it at most cooking sotres such as Sur La Table or Williams Sonoma.
I started with this recipe and sprinkled some fleur de sel on top of the dough balls.
Bake at 325 for 11-14 minutes or until golden brown.
That’s it! Making Fleur de Sel chocolate chip cookies is my new favorite because it adds a that savory bite to the sweetness that perfectly balances out the flavor of the chocolate.
Enjoy!
